Someone tried to hide it, that's what happened. That sheet over it was a sad attempt to "protect" it while they buried it. Looks like someone stubbed their toe and wanted to see what it was.

In the first Gulf War one of their Mig-25's achieved Iraq's only confirmed kill, an F/A-18Hornet.

I saw on TV that if you got like fifty thousand to burn you can book a trip to a Russian airfield and they'll take you up in one to the edge of the earth's stratosphere.

That's old news. Unless they found more. Basically they "think" they hid them back after the first gulf war. I think out of the whole batch they found only a couple "could" keep up with our modern fighers. The others dated back to the Iran war. Of course if you bury something in the sand it's gonna take more then a garden hose to get it back to working shape. As too the chemcial weapons I'm starting to think they don't exist like Saddam had said. Til we find them We will never know for sure though.

No I'm not upset. I was just commenting that they found these at least a month and a half ago. Unless they did find more *which wouldn't suprise me*. So this thread doesn't upset me.

Oh and by the way just so I don't look dumb Heat had posted that it wasn't a Mig 25. lol

Any one else think its not worth the 1 billion we're putting down (and the 40+ work days my mother is being forced to take off without pay next year) per week to dig up some planes.. that we probably planted there in the first place?
