I'm going to assume that they're Germans. H&K being a German company and all...

I think the germans are still using flectarn and that definetley aint it. Besides, it looks like this is at some kind of trade show or weapons convention so there could be people their from all over looking around.

I highly doubt H&K would make ANYTHING that would cause question into thier quality and design. They are a revolutionary company pushing the limits in weapon design. I'm sure Army would agree with me on this.

That's Marine Corp MARPAT camo those guys are wearing. As to the green color, how often are the surroundings you are in black? I kinda like it. Could use some backup iron sights though.

I agree that HK makes good products, but I would never categorize them as being revolutionary. I would say their designs are more evolutionary. This rifle looks like nothing more than a polymer framed conentional rifle. There are probably no significant advances other than weight reduction. I'm sure the internals are fine, and I would bet it shoots well, but its nothing to get too excited about.

FN, on the other hand, seems to be on the cutting edge of weapons design lately. Check out the F2000:

Now thats a more radical design. But its their p90 thats truly radical:

Check out the location of that magazine.

No, Im not a fan of fixing something that isnt broken. Conventional rifle design has created weapons that are very deadly. But it is nice to see some true innovation.
