Ok, so I am really bored and I almost never post on this site but I read a lot of the post. If anyone notices that when I made this post it is about 1:30am on the east coast (for those of you reading this from the midwest or other time zones). Well anyway I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else while they were playing Mine Sweeper? See the attached file because I no longer have a web site to put pictures up on and I don't have time to look for a free one.
Does this ever happen to you while playing MineSweeper in Windows?

.......wow, the only way I can get anywhere near winning is if I put on the biggest sized map with only 10 mines.Comment

LOL I'm the same way. My fiancee on the other hand get's like 7 sec on the beginner and it slowly increases to the higher boards.Originally posted by xrancid_milkx

Yep and it sucks when that happens. BUT you should have been able to work out where 3 of the remaining 4 mines would/could have been, and thus had a better percentage chance of clicking in the far corner...
I used to have the fastest time through every level of minesweeper in our office. I could do the expert level quicker than many guys could do the intermediate!

My girls scores are as follows, these are no lies:
Beginner - 7 seconds
Intermediate - 52 sec
Expert - 227
If I could figure out how to get it to show on here I'd prove it. I call the way she does it as cheating though but she get's it all done correctly.Sorry, I'm oldComment

It's simple logic, with a few blind guesses on the larger boards. The first move is always a corner.Originally posted by Fastkid
There is actually tactics behind that game... you have to basically feel for the mine...
The only 'strategy' is to determine what is NOT a mine, not what is.Comment
