    Spam emails

Hi all. Does anyone know if there is a good free spambuster programme around that gets rid of these annoying pests.
If it was just a hotmail account I wouldnt mind but my work email is being hit by at least 50 spam emails a day!!

          so I didnt read...i skimmed....

if your webmaster or ISP can install something called Spam Assasin, that works hot. I installed it on my three servers and it works great. I get about 300 spams per day, but they all have --SPAM-- in the title and so I just created a rule for MS Outlook Express to send them to the trash. Gets about 90% of spams

I use yahoo mail, and I would say it filter 99% of spam. The only things that get through are the occasional obvious virus e-mail, and ebay scam.

Haha, I have yahoo and my spam blocker doesnt work. I get 20 spam messages a day and it says that my spam blocker is on and working properly.

True true, I see your point. These ones that I'm getting now are for perscription medicines, pornography, and the "save money" ones. I can only imagine what I'm not getting or havent gotten yet for that matter.

If you go through all of them, most have click to remove links. If you work those enough, eventually they slow down or stop. I remember at one point I was getting 40 or so a day, I would click those, and after about two weeks I was getting one or two a day. But now the yahoo thing works fine for me so I don't bother. The only annoying thing is once in a while an e-mail you want gets sent there.
