    My Bike...

Well I've had it a little while now but only just got around to taking some pictures.

I love it to bits. Unfortunately the reason I took pics was to sell her now that I am moving out to the USA . I only had her a couple of months! I got the new job offer 3 weeks after I bought her!

Great bike! She is a Honda VFR 800 Interceptor. With V4 Vtec goodness!

        Whadya mean cloudy?

That's a sunny day in these parts...

I might get a Harley in the USA, but the sports tourer is much more me.

Daroy99 when I first sat on one of these I was intimidated also. But you soon get used to it, and on my God how I love it! Best 'toy' I've ever bought!

why can't you just have it shipped over here, would it just not be worth it?

                        Nope

I sell it here, lose a small fortune on it... and can still buy a brand new bike in the USA for what I sold mine here for .

That means it isn't worth paying to ship it over, or to get the lights converted etc.

that looks a wee bit small for you. maybe the next one you get can be more suitable for a tall, lanky type.

Umm...what's wrong with the lights? Ya got headlights and turn signals. I assume there is a tail light. What else do you need?

Wyn have you ever tried a VFR? It was actually the most comfortable sports tourer I tried. And it's definitely not a small bike. I'm trying to work out if you were being sarcastic or serious. I looked quite hilarious trying to fit on a fireblade in comparison... I need to ge a pic of me sat on it, but on this it feels great, I can hunker down behind the screen, wind it up to 145mph (err private road guvnor...) and then realise I'm not even in top gear. Oops heheheh

Muzikman, because we ride on the other side (well actually I spend more time on the right hand side of the road to be honest ) our lights dip differently to USA lights. It means you have to get them changed/set up correctly when you swap to riding in a different country. We also have to fit different emissions laws. It all added up to being too complex since I could sell the bike, even at a huge loss, and have enough money to buy another one in the states.
