I think when I get to the USA I am going to have the same bike again, just trying to decide if I want stealth black...

yeah, it was supposed to be sarcastic, sorry about that. Most of the touring bikes I've been on felt very cramped. But that's what I get for riding a big fat sabre. I just dumped some cobra exhausts on mine, and dear god is it loud.

I still can not picture Wyn riding that arse bike he's got. One of these days I'll buy a bike, but it'll end up being a Scout I think.

I love having a bike so much. I wonder if in America where your roads are not so 'twisty' if I will change to being a cruiser rider... doubt it but we shall see.

Oh my friend we have many many miles of twisty roads! You just need to find them. I doubt you'll find them in Texas (just one big open plain). You want area's full of great twisty roads hit Western PA, Western MD, or West Virginia.

Sounds like a long way to go for a ride out... as compared to the 500yards from my house to get to some great roads currently...

Er, same issue as with a car, the lights are angled differently. Different emission regs in the USA also, but not sure if that would have been an issue or not.

Manike..sweet Interceptor. That was actually my first choice. Then I changed my mind and bought the Busa. Every year those are rated one of the best bikes. Superbikes are quick and fun but not good on longer trips. Sporttourer was the way to go. Good luck and be safe. Get leathers also.

Oh ok the emissions would be fine to sort hell it is nearly new but light alignment? Surely bikes are straight ahead unlike cars...all the damned bikers I ever see always seem to have high beam on and pointing in my direction and always have full beam on during the day!! Whenever I pass them in the opposite direction...I don't have a problem with bikers (might have sounded that way) as there are more knobs behind the wheel than behind handlebars

                                Apparently not.

It's now compulsory on all new bikes to ride with lights on. Stupid nanny country always telling us what to do... I'm quite looking forward to trying living somewhere else for a change.
