    Stinky car

Ok i got my car and when i was vacuming it out i found glass in the crack of the back seat. So the back window was broken at one point and replaced, but never got a seal. So I put a seal in it and i just can get the smell out. Ive let it sit with the windows open. Air freshoner, Shampooed the carpet and rear window deck. But for the life of me i cant get the smell out. It reminds me of the senfield episode where he cant get the b.o. smell out of his car.

    So what should i try?

    .

what does it smell like ? u may end up doing what he did if all else fails...leave the keys in the car with engine running and hope for someone to take it away...and hope they dont run away from the car.

shampoo everything thats shampooable...wash everything washable...air fresheners, cologne/perfume..anything that smells good....and if those dont work...then do the above.

its not that bad but it is annoying. I think it is the back seat from where the watter was leaking on it. Well ill shampoo the hell out of it tommorow after work.

        .

if the water was dripping on it...then its probably mold...i dont think there is anyway to get rid of mold unless u get a new seat or something...or i could be wrong....anyway..good luck with the stench.

febreeze? baking soda? a lower concentration of bleach and water (dependent on what color the interior is)?

I had mold in one of my work cars. We took it in to get shampooed but it didn't help... So we just left it out in the sun with the windows rolled up. The high heat killed off the mold after a few days...

if it is mold you could prolly take out the back seat and put it some place hot, or blow dry it alot to kill the mold like splat said. other wise, just get hella air freashener. i got this stuff from wal-mart called freashness that works awsome. my car reaked of taco bell(my work) until i got that stuff and now my car be smellin like cocanuts 24/7, can't even tell i smoke in there no more. that and fabreeze like, 2 times a day helps get rid of smells.
