Ladybugs!

These things are everywhere...

today I came home from school, and our house looks like its been spattered with red paint. If you step outside you immediatly become covered with little peskey beetles that like to crawl under your shirt and up your nose... The smell, they have a nasty destinct fruity-bitter smell wen you step on them, its soooooo sickening...

anyone else live in the migratory path of these frisky little critters?

...yeah i know what you mean...there was about 50 on the CTA (chicago transit authoirty) bus...and one flew into my eye....they are furious...


...oh and i bird flew into my class and tried to escape and then cracked its neck hitting the window ... it was a LOUD crack...

yea my house is covered wiht them inside and out i was walkin up the driveway and at least 20 of them all started to cling on to me stupid things and then when u step on them *crunch Crunch*

same here we have lady bugs and these little black and orange bug

We have alll these stupid milkweed bugs and aphids,and I was burning them with sparklers!

They aren't true lady bugs...these are imported from China or Japan...I can't remember. Anyway, they don't have any natural predators and are a major nuisance in the fall. Not to mention that I haven't seen a REAL lady bug since I was a kid.

The other ones that are black and red are boxelder bugs...same thing, major nuisance, but they have been around for a while.

Houses around here are covered with them by the thousands....usually on the sunny south or west side of the house. My in-laws live in an older house in the country and they get them inside like no other.

illinois is swamped with them!!! They're everywhere i come home and i m covered with them. I look down and theres about 10 of them crawling on me. I hate these things. Oh well its still better than mayfly season in colorado

god im sitting at the computer and all i here are them flying they hit the wall and fall down. and then there are other freaking bugs in here!!!! THEY ARE HUGE!!! come on winter get here!!!

Take a picture of one of the bugs... I may know which ones you're talkin about, but they aren't ladybugs...

technicly none of them are bugs, they are all beetles, their common name is lady bird beetles, not lady bugs, bugs are different.

Yeah they are everywhere around me, today in school when I looked out the window there were about 40 of them on there, they are nasty!
