Does anyone else do this?

My dad was making fun of me for doing this.. dunno why.. just struck me as odd.

Does anyone else have the habbit of when driving with someone else, you'll do all the looking too. Like if they are going to change a lane, I'll always look behind as well. Or turning out into a street, I always have to contantly look both way as if I was driving myself. It seems to annoy alot of people..

my mom is wierd like that, like 1 time there was a red light and no cars at the intersection so i scream GO! so she like floors it and relizes she just ran a red light half way through, needless to say there where some choice words said my way. i cant drive with my parents they get to nervouse so i just stick to driven with kids my age or by myself.

I do the looking thing too... I guess it becomes habbit after your parents ask you to check that really really tight corner they can't see a few times.

my mom pointed this out to me when I got my license, untill then I didnt know jow to drive or what to check when and where... [explanation mode]I guess that once you've learned to drive it becomes natural (good thing) even if your not actually driving the car... [/explanation mode]

I did something better with my roommate. We were heading west in the city so we were driving into the sun, making it difficult to see the lights. When we were stopped at one and the second car in line, I asked, "What is this guy waiting for?" My roommate hits his horn, the guy in front blows the red, then my roommate does.

I always check blindspots, only because so many people take for granted such a simple action. Sometimes I think that if it's physically impossible for you to check it, you shouldn't be on the road.
