Heh....well I guess pyrotechnic wouldn't be too far off. Growing up in Alaska can be really boring at times, gotta find something exciting to keep you entertained. Hehe edweird...thats a pretty good size spud gun if your shooting soda cans outta it. Hate to see the damage that could do :)

        cheap fun
cut off top, puncture hole in bottom, place upside down in bowl of water, place firecracker in hole in bottom, light and watch it shoot into the air.
but I never heard about the fire one, gotta try that

I was drinking some soda with my lunch I just had moments ago, and I think I have another coefficient to add to the soda can drinking equation.

the hole from the can should be parallel to your mouth. be sure the can is not slightly skewed from the mouth, otherwise results could also yeild you changing your shirt.

Punch a small hole in the can about 1/2in below the opening before giving to to someone else. Hence they have to change your shirt, you get to laugh, and get your *** kicked.

the can in the fire is cool, but very dangerous. It really does blow burning embers all over the campsite, so be careful.

Try this one here(i hope nobody mentioned this already):

Put an open and empty soda can in boiling water for a while, make sure it gets really hot. take it out with tongs, and place it upside down in a bucket or large bowl full of ice water. the second it hits the cold water it implodes and crushes itself instantly, it's pretty cool...

I've learned that dry air dosnt go to well in cars here ether. I had a can in my tech bag when I was doing some offstie work. I go back to my car after lunch and notice my RJ45 crimps in my seat... I'm like WTF then I looked in back and it looked like a tornado hit the place... it blew everything out of the bag and all over the place and impaled the plastic top into the back of one of the seats.

So far as spud guns etc... when I was a fabricator we made something similar out of a 10' peice of stainless pipe.... we used OxyAceteline to fire cloth pigs... it was pretty cool... nice low thump when we would fire it. Definantly not one to try at home.... you could definantly blow yourself up good with that one.

                        Consider it attempted.

I have an eating problem too. If I have like a dress shirt and pants on... I've learned to lean forward when I eat, and avoid spaghetti. And even then, I still find ways to get stuff on me. I dunno, I guess I'm just defective like that.
