Thank you for your opinion. I will be sure to write you a formal thank you note when I start caring again.

Chrome, in my honest opinion, is overrated. You can scratch it easily. It has to be waxed with special waxes(if you really care about the life and look of your parts). It's too much effort to make my car look more and more like a mirror. Plus, most rims aren't real chrome anyway. They are usually polished steel or aluminum.

One can only hope. I guess they do kind of, and the car is at the perfect angle for an easy photoshop job.

you can see the reflection of the yellow paint from the ground in them. it would have to be a good PS job to include that.

Oh, I did photoshop it, see on the drivers window to the left of the bowtie that little line? That says some very nasty things about the rims

Why do you call them spinners? Their called Spreewells after the basketball player that helped make them. And ya their ugly, but then the car isnt cool anyway, of course if it were a jeep or truck......

                  Cause they are called spinners...

Spreewells were indeed the first "spinner" rim, but they are a differen't brand as there are many kinds now. They're authentic spinners which are built onto the rim and just spinner adapters which go onto a deep dish rim.
Plus, Python14, as to most rims arent chrome? Get your info straight, chrome rims are triple chrome plated, if they are just polished they usually specify, or if they are just silver.

Also, now that I look closer they really do look like a photohackjob.

how could it be a 305? why would someone transplant that ****ty engine into that car. For all the trouble it would be having to swap a motor in a fbody anyway I would personally get either a 355 long rod or a 383 stroker with some form of FI. but a 305? And another thing that would involve a whole tranny, and possibly rearend gears. All the time money and effort would be wasted anyway when the motor is started and is still comparable to the 6 banger that was pulled out.

maybe you mistyped it and meant 350, in that case why would someone who is so proud of their car display the chevy bowtie in the window but go to the trouble of shaving the badging, and not shave the door handles anyway? also most call the LS1's and LT1's 350's but they really arent there is actually less displacement than 350 c.u.i.

also if this was a Z28 or an SS would it have an LS1 or an LT1? we will see if you know your fbodys or if you are fronting.

Wasn't the 305 an option in that car?

                                The 4th gen had either the 5.7L V8 - LT1, LT4, LS1, LS6 or the 3.8L V6 and in the first years, the 3.4L V6.
