    Car Broken into

    Why do people find the need to break into someones car and take something that doesn't belong to them? Someone broke into my car and stole a discman, prescription sun glasses but left my drill for work and all my cd's. Plus they stunk up my car with cigarette smoke. One thing though. The fool left his lighter.

          Uh, do I am pretty sure you can get his prints from the lighter, what a moron.

          Be thankful that the rest of your stuff wasn't touched, though. Was your car locked? Sorry to hear your loss, bro.

                  Don't touch anything just call the police. Some departments will take prints off it and run them. Other will not because they have to pay for every set of prints they run, or are too busy to deal with minor thefts. Atleast you didn't get one of the real a-holes who will not only steal everything from your car, but take a knife to your interior, and key up your car aw well.

                      Thats why an upgrades security system is sometimes a good investment. One system out now can be linked to your cell phone or home phone. If someone breaks the window or anything you phone rings, others have some nifty stuff that come with them.

                          both doors were locked. The guy left his paw prints on my window too. (it was kinda dewy last night) Cop didn't say if they were taking prints or not. I actually noticed it at 12:30am. Cop showed up at 2ish. Filled out a report took a look around and gave me some papers and said sorry. I found the lighter this afternoon as I was gonna go to work so I had to call the sheriffs once again. They took 3 hours to arrive. Took 10 minutes removing the lighter and told me to call the original deputy and see if he's ordering a print search. If he does, Don't touch anything. If he doesn't then tough break. The S.O.B made a mess of my car too.
