    How bout them Marlins?!?

Marlins won! First San Francisco, then Chicago, now who's next? They're unstoppable! The pitching (well, some of it)! The defense! The team chemistry! Don't mess with Florida! It's the year of the fish -- both the Marlins and the Dolphins are going all the way !

Yankees will win the ALCS and murder the Marlins in the World Series. Nuff said.

The Cubs let 'em have the series. You know...don't wanna break the streak, and all.

Yeah, because thats a real challenge...

Face it, Yankees / Red Sox was the real series, the rest is just clean up

Why isn't it a challenge? Because the Marlins don't buy their team every year? Because they play with what they have (which, mind you, consists of like 4 players with any significant experience and a bunch of young kids and rookies)?

Um, No. Johnson, Jeter, Bernie, Riveria, Pettite, Soriano, Posada are all from the Yankee farm system buddy, so they pretty much play with what they have. Buy their team every year? Wrong again, thier lineup only changed because of the string of retirements after the 2001 season.

But the real series was the Yankee/Red Sox one, not the WS coming up.

                        LOL!!!

The Marlins first World Series was purchased by Wayne Huizenga's checkbook. He went out and bought a ton of talent to prove he could win. He then got rid of it the year after and was sued by his fan base for false advertising(Season ticketholders sue after they buy their tickets advertising all of the Marlins stars who were then traded or released). That Marlin's WS ruined baseball. It was huizenga's slap at the league saying he could buy a championship if he wanted!

I couldn't agree more. Although I'm a boston native, I'll be rooting for the Yanks, the lesser of two evils

Yanks don't necessarilly buy their players. And unlike the Marlins, they actually KEEP their players. The yankees are a real team, not just a collection of talent. They win because they play as a team.

Teamwork + skill + talent is the reason the yanks win, NOT because they are bought. that is the marlins .
