    Beaver Food?

    ok, here's the story.

My friend has a large backyard which is bordered by a small creek, well a beaver has dammed it... it flodded his backyard.... what should we use as bait in a live trap we have set??

I am completely lost on this one so any help is appreciated...

Your from wisconsin.... I suggest calling the DNR and they should dispatch a licensed person to remove the critter for you. If I recall its a free service... or atleast it was 8 years ago when I last lived in WI

my friend's parents already called the DNR and they haven't been able to make it out there yet, so in the meantime they're just going to trap it (live) and re-locate it where it cannot do as much damage.

                          Leave the Beaver alone.

When I move to a place with some property, I'll be sure to get a place with a creek and bring in a few beavers as pets.

My Grandpa had a big problem with beavers building dams everywhere at one time too. He blew the beavers and dams up.
