    Remember Jelly Bracelets from the 80's?

    You any of you have teenage daughters you may want to check this out ...

    For those old enough to remember the Jelly Bracelets fade from the 80's ... it would seem that it is back and this time its not just a fashion statement ...

    I have a friend who runs a Claires at one of the local malls and she even said that they are having trouble keeping these things in stock ...

      Ok thats just dumb wish we had those when i was in middle school.

      If sum1 is actually going to do one of the "sexually explicit acts" just because of a braclet do u really think that it would take much convuincing to get em to do it with out the braclets??

      Ok and teh study at the end they refered to about 1 out of 7 middle school student gets pregnent by the age of 15. i have one queston did they do this study in a 3rd world country or what?? I dont think ive know of more then 4 girls out of like 500 in my class that have gotten pregnant and none of them were before 15 so summin is messed up with that survey.....

          Honestly I would have believed those numbers either, until I stopped looking at my school. I came from pretty much an upper middleclass WASP high-school. 90210 could have been gotten story lines from my high-school without a problem ... though if you want 45 mins into the city the story was different. A good number of the "bussed" in students that I knew ended up either pregnant or getting someone pregnant ...

                                      Man this must be a public school thing. I wish i went to public school. Slap bracelets were cool I had a camo one with army written on it.
