Ya great movie. I didnt like the narrators voice in the beginning and end, or the whole baby thing.

loved it, but only movie to ever make me really scared.. holy crap. 1 thing that really freaked me, ever notice in most serial killer/slasher movies the killer takes a sec to "rev" himself up before the kill, like jason always pulls his machette back for a few seconds to give that "power" image, well leatherface just CHARGES into them full bore... eep.

                p.s. IMO Jessica Biel=UGLY

The only thing wrong with the movie was..
                  1. She fought back, and cut his arm off. In the orriginal it was realistic and all the victoms were too scared to fight back.

                  2. The babie thing, that had nothing to do with the texas chainsaw massacre. But it was a good movie, and pretty realistic.

                  R. Lee Ermy was tizight!

Damn good movie. But when he got his arm cut off, that kinda ruined it for me. I still like the original better, and i never got really scared of this movie, it was wierd, there was lots of stuff that should have gotten me, but it just didnt do it for me... Great film. Id like to see the original movie but with todays effects.

What do you mean it wasn't realistic for the chick to fight back. The girl has seen so much crap i honestly don't think he scared her a whole hell of alot at that point, it was more or less survival. All in all that was a great movie. Its been soo many years since i've seen the original that i don't remember anything about it. I'll have to rent it and watch it again.

What i mean is that in the orriginal movie he would easily kill them. But all of the slashers now days the victoms always have a "plan" or an "idea" to trick the killer. If you've ever seen the orriginal TCM the girl "Sally Hardesty" was so shocked and so scared at the end she didnt know what was going on and she was to scared to fight back. The true horror fan would know..

On a side note, I'm with Miscue on this one. Finding Nemo was alot more intense thean I thought it would be I guess I dont like seeing animated characters about to die all the time and I hate the ocean. But back to the subject at hand, I could care less about watching the teenagers in the movie carved up so I'll see it...just leave the cartoon fish alone.

Ahhh but true horror fan i am. I've been watching horror movies since i was very young. And in no way did the old horror films just have their victoms die.
