Harvest Moon
Ok....found Harvest Moon 64 in the bottem of my closet the on Friday, and I can't stop playing it. I mean....it's really dumb. You're a kid who takes over your grandpa's farm. Other than that, you basically try to get with a chick and become friends with everybody else. It goes through a cycle of 4 seasons, each lasting 30 days, and different things can be planted each season. I haven't stopped playing since Friday except for a soccer game, and I think we tied it because I kept wondering why I'm playing a farmer game.
Fortunatly, during the game I took a beating and bruised my hip up real bad, so I have an reason to not do anything.
So far, I have all of the house extensions including the green house, I'm on my fourth year, married to Karen, and teh baby's on the way (SCORE!) in the summertime. After I get a nice share of money from strawberries and the mine this winter, I'll start to raise chickens and try to get recipies. Maybe I'll grow some flowers for the fun of it.
Anybody else played this game and get addicted to it?
