whats a good video edit program

I got all these tight videos that I wanna put online and add music too. I wanna combine them all into one. I got like endless amount of fight videos and endless snowboarding footage and Im gunna start bringin a camera when I paintball. I got stuff on tape that would put a lot of people in jail includin myself so I need a video editer where you can blurr out the faces like they do on TV. Plus Im not that computer smart so I need something simple. Whats your favorite programs?

    Premiere (good beginner-moderate).

AVID (good luck. costs $1000) but is professional stuff.

last year I took a video editing course and used final cut 4 (i think it was 4..maybe 3) and adobe premiere. I had a lot of problems with final cut, just couldn't get stuff the way I was hoping it would turn out. Once I got goin on premiere it made it a whole lot easier and I found a lot more features that made it more fun to play around with.

as i see it, photoshop is to pictures as premiere is to video editing (both adobe, must be good )

AVID. its what the pros use, find someone who has it or can get it for you. easy to use, great results.

A good version of Avid, or if you want something simpler Premiere Pro.

I agree...Adobe Premiere is great, or if you have a Mac the I-movie software has some nice capabilities and it's pretty user-friendly. I made my first movie with I-movie and it turned out awesome.
