You should put a humbucker pickup on that thing. Its like a night and day difference in tone. only prob is you have to mod the body a little.

Or you can get the single coil sized humbucker. They sound pretty much the same. It all depends on the sound you are looking for.

Not on a Mexi,they're routed like a swimming pool,'course all the newer ones are now too.

Don't sweat it,I have a Mex & USA and there is very little if any real diffence in tone and there are many who think the Mexi's sound better.

I really should have just waited and sprung for the fat strat, which comes with a humbucker at the bridge pickup. Its only like 60 or 70 more.

The one in the picture isn't actually mine, just the closest I could find. Mine is the same, just the neck is a different color wood.

Just thought I'd post a pic of mine. I play sometimes when my band wants to do a softer guitar song, so the drums don't really fit. Mexican made, marroon. I'm looking for a new strap because my old one hurts. Any suggestions?

man they look exactly like the squier, I mean mine looks almost entirely identical

Although I noticed,yet again, my guitar input is inside out :) and im probably still to lazy to change it
