    hmmm smells like smoke...

so it's 7:30 and I let the dogs out for the morning. I get back upstairs into bed when I hear a knocking at the door. I goto the window and see a car I don't recognize then I start to goto the front door. Guy isn't there anymore. Next thing I know my grandmother starts yelling up the stairs that the house is on fire. Me and my dad bolt outside to the side to see the siding melting and the new plastice fence burning with flames about 8 feet high or so. Out of the middle of the house comes the guy who was banging on the door with our hose turned on and spraying water all over the place. Took about a minute or two to put out the fire.

here are some pics of what happened. I don't have pics of the siding because we already cut it all up and it's in the trash can.

If it wasn't for that guy driving by and seeing the fire who knows what would've happened before we realized our house was on fire. My guess is the addition would've burned down before we would've woke up.

Yeah we thanked him, and then he just walked off without telling us his name. Was kinda wierd.

haha, it wasn't arson. Our fireplace vents over there and we think there was a bunch of leaves that piled up from yesterday's winds.
