Transmission diagnostic service in SF Bay Area

I know it's a long shot, but does anyone know a good place that will do a computer transmission diagnostic? I'm looking for something in the SF Bay Area. My transmission when out and I replaced it with one from a "junk" yard. It's not working quite right and I'm not sure if it's the tranny or the TCM. before I pull it back out (I'm not looking forward to that! ) and exchange it I'd like to be sure the tranny is the the problem and not the TCM.

An even longer shot. Anyone here an expert with a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 V8 Automatic Transmission?
