AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Born in Michigan. Pop. Soda is a powder used for baking.
Funny story though. A week after moving from michigan to connecticut I went to a ice cream truck and asked for a orange pop and the guy gave me popsicle. I was confused as to what had happened for about an hour.

i call all softdrinks coke... no matter what kind
cocacola = coke
dr. peper = coke
7up = coke
Sprite = coke
pepsi = coke
slice = coke
EVERYTHING IS COKE
except redfusion which is goodness
*Is it rainbow jimmies or shots?
*Is the glass half full or half empty?
*O or OU (IE Armour or armor..OU all the way)
..Uh.Can't think of anything else. My brain has been scrambled in 4 hour of scripture studying.
Damn Yankees! Its coke in the south. When we got a kid from Mass and he said "I could really go for a soda" everybody looked at him like he was retarded. You say:
"I would like a coke."
"What kind?"
"*enter name of brand here*
Well considering that CocaCola was the first major American carbonated beverage company and originated in the south people called it coke, because for a long time thats all they knew. Then when other brands started popping up in different places and well people still hung on to the word. Thats my theory on a stupid subject.
"There are some who call me....Tim?..."-Monty Python
But of course I'm going to call it by brand name. "I want soda" is like saying "I want food," that just invites another question to be asked, and who has time for that?

In casual conversation with friends, I'll indiscriminately refer to everything as "coke". Other times, when I feel its necessary to be specific, I'll do so...
