    at home cd cleaning

    im extremely cheap and i dont want to buy a cd cleaning kit. how should i clean one with stuff id find in my house?

    Uh, spit + tshirt?
    Just buy some of that spray stuff that you spray on the back of the cd and wipe off.. that seems to work *fairly* well but if its someintg major wrong with the cd it wont help all that much. I've never used a cd cleaning kit, so im not sure how well those work.

      I used one that had some cream in it that you rubbed on the cd but it did nothing, just watter and paper towles work fine for small problems.

        ACtually I suggest not using paper towels, because they're so rough.. that would do more bad than good IMO, try a soft cloth.
