new style of popup ads

Have yall heard of them, its a bug in windows that leaves the windows messenger service open, and since shares ports with other necesarry ports its unblockable.

I previously had just heard of it on tv, but I just got like 5 to pop up, very annoying.

Go into services and turn the Messanger Service off.

Start --> Settings --> Control Pannel --> Administrative tools --> Services

(In the frufru version of XP its Start --> Control Pannel --> Performance and Maintnance --> Administrative tools --> Services)

Look for Messenger and change it from Automatic to Manuel. Also stop the service. This will end your Messeger Window popups.

I've had messenger disabled since I first installed xp, so no problem here.

Should've disabled that when you got XP.
