More Lax stuff

Ok, two things. First off, I want to show off the huge butt-kicking shaft I got. I know its huge and wooden and will be slow, but I'm a big guy, so the weight won't slow me down as much as it would a smaller player.

Secondly, can anyone identify the head? Its an STX, about 5 years old. Just curious what the name is.



Oh, and as a note, I had forgotten how much of a PITA stringing your own head is. I hadn't done it in years. Stupid strings.

The old indian-style shafts are still legal for normal play, you know.

Wooden sticks may be somewhat less durable than a metal shaft (although you'd be surprised at how well hickory stands up), and they are heavier, but there is just an element of cool about having a wooden shaft that makes it all worth it.
