FYI ... Techno is a genre of Elecronica in general, its often used wrong when talking about electronica but its actually a style of music.

If you want some good beats get some DnB or some Breaks!

Dig up some stuff by Dieselboy, Technical Itch, Randy C, etc.

Yeah...I forgot to explain that. I don't actually listen to Techno. Techno is usually a bit more simple than trance...less 'layers' of sound, as it were. Many sub-genres withing the Electronic music group are kinda hard to classify. Breakbeat is easy, but then there's trance, which can be divided into psy, goa, acid, hard, house, dance, etc. Eventually you get combinations that are just too hard to say (vocal hardhouse acid trance?), so it ends up just being called Trance in general....etc...
