I'v heard that this happened from a few of my friends.

Yea Slipknot is cool...very cool, i put those on in the weightroom, also some slayer, pantera, and perhaps disturbed. There is always a fight because theres like 5 kids black kids in our weight lifting class(yea weight lifting is a class u get graded on down here in FL) and they are always saying to the coach how is racial discrimination if they only listen to "white people music" and not their music...and the coach always listens because hes afraid to lose his job...PISSES ME OFF. And does anyone else here really not like Linkin Park, i call them the troll band cuz the lead singer in one of their videos looks like a little troll....dam i hate them

Wow! Someone else listens to punk and hardcore

Really nobody around me listens to hardcore-and I mean the real hardcore-XDiscipleX A.D., Figure Four, No Innocent Victim, and probably the hardest of them all-Shockwave

I have gotten a lot of the guys who live around me into punk-and yes, not pop punk, the fast punk rock. If you've never heard of a band called Dogwood-check em out, they are hard and fast punk like NoFx and Good Riddance

            My fav's are:

            Punk:
            Dogwood-high quality fast punk rock
Officer Negative-Old school punk with hardcore influence
            Smiley Kids-skate punk

            Hardcore:
No Innocent Victim- old/new skool out of SD
xDisciplex-hard new skool out of PA
            Shockwave-super hard HC out PA

A lot of people won't know any of these bands because they are all posi-bands in which they have a positive message and Christian influence-just cause their hard doesn't mean their negative-I love it

            That, and most are underground.

            very cool!

Yep some of those are Christian bands that I listen to! Smiley Kids rock although they are broken up . They are doing a farewell tour though. I don't know if xDisciplex is the same as Disciple who is a really cool Christian hardcore band, they are out of TN though. I havnt listened to Dogwood to much, I'll download some more of their stuff . Try out MxPx's older stuff, its pretty coola.

I like SKA and hardcore and punk and can stand (sometimes like) almost any kind of music.

                My favorite bands are:

                Five Iron Frenzy
                Supertones (especially the Adventures CD)
                Insyders (Motor City Ska rocks)
                Third Day
                Jars of Clay
                DC Talk
                Travail (Rapcore)
                Strongarm
                Six Feed Deep (not under)
                Klank
                W's
Early to rise and early to bed may make a man healthy but socially dead.

FIF rocks! The Insyderz are "ok", W's are cool, Supertones used to be cool but now they are like pop rock with horns . I think that Fight of my Life is probably the Insyderz best album. Skaluah(SP?) is pretty cool also. I have some stuff autographed by the Insyderz trombone player Sang Kim. I havn't heard the Adventures of the Supertones CD, I have the one...can't remember what its called, it might be called "Supertones Strike Back" It has that song and "Little Man" on it. I have heard parts of Chase the Sun but its not really good. Whats up with all the Ska bands changing music styles? KNIBB HIGH FOOTBALL RULES!

                  ENDO!

yeah, I heard the Supertones a lot cause I lived in San Diego for 10 years and they were next to us-Orange County. Sometimes, if I hear really really good punk/ska, I will be really into it.

I definitely know there is another Disciple band, but I don't know much about them. XdiscipleX site is http://www.hxc.com/xdisciplex/

I would always recommend Dogwood-they are just so good, and if your looking to download songs from them, here are some good ones-

                        Fast hard songs:

Never Die, The Pain is Gone, Nothing New, Suffer(More than Conquerors version) Rest Assured, A Hope Unseen(great song), Confusion Zero

                        Slower more rockin' songs:

Feel the burn, Building a Better Me, The Good Times, Nothing is Everything

I can't talk about them enough...obviously they are my fav.

OH! Dogwood sings building a better me? I burned that on a CD with a bunch of other bands, not realizing who it was! I love that song, it rocks! I will download some of the stuff from your list, thanx. Try downloading some stuff by Disciple. Some good stuff by them is:

                                Interesting results.

Big metal fan myself metal/grunge is my favorite so I just put hardcore/metal.

You know this acually isn't that suprising, I'd imagine that the type of people that paintball apeals to would also like rock music. Now try the same poll in some general message board and I'd imagine the results to be quite different.
