I was looking at some of my first posts on AO (because I am just that bored) and they make me laugh

Buying a new minimag, newbie needs help
Hey everyone thanks for clickin here,

I'm a newbie to paintball but I've been getting advice to upgrade guns (I've got a pro/carbine). I've researched a bit and I've come to the minimag. I still need to use c02 so I found out that an expansion chamber is neccesary and a bottomline (which is what I want anyways). But I cant find any resources or anything to help me find out what I actually need to get, like adaptors or hoses and other things, and I dont know if I need to buy a specific kind or brand or something that is best for the minimag. Please help, all I really want is the simplest setup I can get with an expansion chamber, bottomline, and a dropforard, but something that works wells with the gun. Thanks ahead for helping.

P.S. whats with the HUGE price differences on the minimag? I can buy the same gun for 500$ or 279$ at the same website!! And in APG the prices in the ads vary so much too!! I dont understand, is there a difference I dont know about ?

Im getting a mag soon too, except its a minimag. I've done tons of research and I've read that the mag's have a simple design and are really, really good . Sorry I cant help you on anything but its good that your getting a mag of some sort! I think getting a used one will be good because it will have the stuff you already need upfront and you dont have to buy stuff to play.

I did a "custom" trigger job on it, although it ended up doing nothing for me. Then I got ripped off by the PB store fore a new valve when I needed a 20 cent o-ring which is why I still hate that store till this day.

It wasn't really upgraded at all though.

Ahahah! I had an awesome J&J BLACK ceramic! It looked awesome with the foregrip. Also a drop, RVA, and some other things... I really dont remember lol

Man I was an idiot... although the barrel was definitly needed, the stock was a piece of loud crap

Mine was actually pretty accurate with the stock barrel. My modo has always been louder is better. Have to love the stock sight though I wish I haddn't sold the thing, i'm going to try and buy it back from the guy if he still has it. My first gun though was a mirage, I cannot find a damned o-ring for it though to get it going again.

But was it a 36in sniper barrel? I remember wanting a long barrel at one point, and debating buying the 8-hole mod after I got my mag. I was slapped out of that one real quick by AO

No, that was FooTemps I think but a lot of peopel hated me for a while

I know it varies from player to player, but I can hammer out a lot of paint for a TL+ trigger. I also wanted to know how accurate it is: I play the front, so accuracy isn't that important, but I still want my gun to be able to fire accuratly to some extent.

Its the basic Im-A-N00b-But-I-Pretend-To-Know-What-I'm-Saying-By-Sounding-Confident, man I used to be so much of that
