The thing that I really hate is that they havn't changed the body style untill recent years...

Anyway, I have a '90 Jeep Cherokee....300,000 miles on it and of that,125,000 on the second engine. It still runs fine, but is really showing signs of age. Great wheels for students. Lots of room and power for such a light vehicle.

Crashing sucks, happend to me I think five times now
First like 2 weeks after I started driving I discovered that exploreres suck in the rain and Pirrelli tires are junk, skidding around a corner did a 540 went up onto the divider, then some moron decided since there was snow on his side of the road he would drive in mine, that lead to a head-on, then I was stopped and someone rear-ended me, then I hit a poll at 90mph, bye bye that camaro, didn't crash my jeep once, then this camaro my friend told me there was a bad corner so I decided I would speed up. Almost made it, but ended up in some ladys garden

Then I don't know if you want to count it or not, but I got stuck in a ditch the other night, I thought it would made it but it didn't had to get pulled out. I intended to go down there though, it was just alot worse than I though. So I don't think thats an accident.

I've the same thing in a '96, same colors too Keep an eye on the fluids, when low, they make the CE light come on too often. Oh yeah, the rear view mirror may pop off easy. Just use some fresh super-glue if it does.

Yes, that big I6 will smoke many rides despite being a lump around truck.

The normal Jeep Cherokee was discontinued when the Liberty came out... now they only make Grand Cherokees, more of a luxury SUV then a go anywhere type of thing...

And as for I-6's not making power, hell look at the Supra... the last generation was making 230 NA, 300 Turbo'ed horsepower from a 3 liter I-6, and its one of the most upgrade-friendly cars on the market.

But I agree, the Jeep I-6 was made more for high torque numbers for driving OVER things, not down a straight line...
