    Problems with account

    hey, i havent been on AO in months and now im trying to get back in the sceme of things, and i cant post anything, it get a screen that says theres a database problem, and to hit the refresh button and all that, when i do hit the refresh button another screen pops up and says "no valid link specified" whats the matter? im not even sure this will post.

    ive tried posting several times ofer the past weeks

    EDIT: it especially happens with pictures...

    This happened to one of my friends recently as well (pbguy87). Apparantly you can start threads, but not post replies or vote... interesting...

      Attachments arent working, you can't attach pictures.

      Use off-site hosting if you want to display pictures. Its a known problem they are trying to fix.

          Well gee...if Thordic is not on the right track then he and I both are not....

          PM with your details and I look into it.

          But yes picts are still broken or turned off at Delaware I should say.

            lol alright then, let my re-propose the problem my friend has:
            He's been a member for a while (like I said, his AO name is pbguy87), but hasn't been on the boards the past few months. He tried to vote for me to get me on the AO Survivor list () only to find out he can't post, vote, or do anything, getting that "you do not have permission to access this page" nonsense. Any idea why, or suggestions for what he can/should do? Thanks cphil!

                Yep I know EXACTLY why. He changed his email and never replied to the confirmation email. So he was still "User awating confirmation" when I just now looked. I changed him to registered and he should now be able to get on.
