Help me write a paper - 1984

I know we have all kind of gifted minds on AO so I'm going to see if one of them can help me out.

I'm writting a paper on the Similarites Between Big Brother and Emanuel Goldstein.

I just want to start throwing ideas around to see if there is something I missed. so far I pretty much have that both Big Brother and Goldstein were created by the party and are fictional characters. The contrast between Big Brother and Goldstein is neccasary... etc etc

Can anyone think of anymore points to write on as far as there similarites go?

Its been too long since Ive read the book to be of any help. But I belive if you have read the book this shouldnt be too hard. Consult your notes.

1984 is a classic - and a must read.

I've read the book but I'm having trouble getting 8-9 pages. I know there has got to be something I'm missing I could write on.

well did you hit on the communism and that goldstien was a man and big brother was more of a godlike character.

Well in my paper I've said that both Goldstein and Big Brother are fictional characters created by the inner party. I could hit more on communsim but my teacher told me not to spend too much time on the subject because that was a whole other topic for another paper.
