when i read some of the comments ppl make about our president i get really hot under the collar. but then i sit back and i realize i dont live in iraq so reading other peoples views on the man is not the worst situation i could be in. doesnt mean i like you though.

Changes some doesn't it? You get his meaning but yea he sort of jumps around in thought and what comes out of his mouth is not often the point he was trying to make

As to the first quote in this thread. I have never seen that one. But if you hunt around long enough you might find snips of it and could do just like Bob did and make it even sound worse. Its easy to do. There are tons of Clinton ones.

As to Bobs snippets of illegalities and lack of service the record is clear that Bob is not relaying the truth on that one. Exagerations mostly. Typical activity. Some equaly done against most Presidents. Go look around and find almost anything you want. But believe only what you can prove. We not going to have rumor coddling left unchallenged here.

I personally doubt that it is a real quote for two reasons:

1) I'm sure I would haev heard a LOT about it THEN when it happened had it been said

2) Both NYTimes.com and CNN.com (two vocal anti-Bush news agencys) can not quote bush to saying that.

xadamx -don't have much time to type,so this may not be really complete, but in short, actions/ideas of the administration I agree with- foriegn policy, economic policy, and national defence (to a point).
actions/ideas of the administration I disagree with are recreational drug use, abortion, national defence (after a point), and a few other issues. I think Bush is a better President than Clinton was (from what I've read, I wasn't really active in watching the news or anything political when he was in office), and in my opinion better than Gore would have been. Also how is Independant with Conservative leanings contradictory? I assume you mean that saying that I have conservative leanings means that I am conservative, which is sort of true. I guess what I meant was that I just don't think that everything the conservatives do is right and everything anyone else does is wrong.
