Hey Michael Mooron, THIS is what a documentary looks like. -
pyro, assuming you know what the effects of crack are, then yes, its your fault.
if that person bought crack from you, and died, but say they left a note saying where they bought it, and say you were stupid enough to say you sold it to them.. you can be held responsible for negligence.
you would be hard pressed to prove that you sold crack and didnt know what it did.
in any event. I hear they are getting people for $150,000 per song.
*edit*
my math wasnt correct. 9980 songs times $150,000 per song equals $1,497,000,000 if again my math is correct. this time it should be. too bad I dont have that kind of money

Well it's not ours to steal and that's why the RIAA is going after people. Do I think it'll solve the problem, of course not. Will it make people think twice about sharing files?...sure. The discussion of whether it's right or wrong to share music has already been beaten to death and i'm not gonna go there, but until you know how much it costs to actually record a song then you shouldn't comment.Originally posted by smee

The 150,000 thing is not actually used, they have that value there they can basically take everything you have if they want. This wont stop anyone. After they kill kaza another big file sharing program will pop up, just like kaza did after Napster.

If you dont like it stop giving them any of your money. When kazaa goes away stop buying albums or anything else that results in money going to the record companies.
But people like to talk, and say things are wrong, but not do anything about it. A new CD will come out from your favorite band, and you'll buy it anyways, and then complain about the record companies even though everything they are doing is still working...Comment

I thought that Kaza couldn't be shut down by the RIAA do to the fact that it doesn't just allow people to share mp3's but also freeware which isn't illegal? Not sure if that's entirely true but I thought that that's why they're going after individuals since they can't take down the source.Good Traders:JoeyJoe367, Blazestorm213, RetardedRiceBowl, rsadich,PaInTbALL zAcH, jwyke. Just a couple questions...back in the day I shared files (meaning I had enabled file uploads). I havnt let people d/l off of me for over a year now, but I still d/l music...am I safe?

not really... i think they can still get you for downloading- even if you dont share anything. ive heard rumors that they could search your hard drive.... but thats impossible unless they find a way to hack into your computer... and thats defentaly illegal
so, your not safe... but dont be a pansy!Yummy yummy yummy, I've got fun in my tummy.
