just about all the time when i download music from iMesh it always has some weird tones in the middle of the songs!

I gave up downloading music, I have a much much more efficiant meathod now. Sure it costs me about $4 a cd, but I don't have to worry about quality, and if I like the cd enough, then I can keep the original

My methods
1. Copy from friend
2. Split cost of cd with 6 friends, make copies then play c-low or however you spell it for the original
3. My most used method-Buy the CD on ebay, copy it and sell it again. That way you pay shipping and the listing fee only. Sometimes you make money on it too, somtimes you loose some though. But still cheaper than buying it, then if the CD is good I keep it, if it sucks I sell it again.Comment

I think it's easyer and cheaper just to download the songs, and what your doing is still ilegal. but at least they an't gonna raid your house for doing that though.Comment

The weird tones are most likely the result of someone who has ripped a CD unsuccessfully.
Either set up a music sharing system with your friends, or buy the freaking music.
