Your local hobby shop probably has a rack of Evergreen styrene plastic products. Usually sheets, tubes, and architectural shapes in various thicknesses. The only time I have heard the term plasticard is when scale modellers from Europe talk about sheet plastic. I think its just sheet styrene.

Plasticard is what I would describe as sheet plastic...How much do you want and what thickness do you need. I have a craftshop in my town that sells all that kind of stuff and a few other goodies I will be messing with in the new year. I have to go out into town later on and I will see if they have a website and if not, if they will ship to you....what do you want this stuff for..as knowing that I might be able to understand a little better the decription you are giving it

Plasticard is the typical material that the people at Games Workshop (fantasy/sci-fi table-top wargame maker) use in all the construction of buildings and hand built models.

I have been playing GW games since around 1989 and had to translate so many British items to American equivlents LOL ... as sad as it sounds it took us almost 3 months to figure out what they meant by DIY stores ... that term was used as much at the time over here in reference to small hobbies.

When you are not use to that term (This was back in 1990, and I was 15 at the time) it takes awhile to figure out.

The white dwarf mag always talked about going to the DIY store, so we thought it was a brand of store like K-Mart or Wal-Mart LOL ...

Well in 1990 it was part of a Brand name of a couple of stores but the term has been in use since the 50's

You know what works great for armour plating on warhammer 40k model ... the flat, thin 2x6 or 2x8 lego pieces. Take a couple of those pieces and dremal some small cracka or wear into them and they look great as reactive armour plates, or bolted on armour plates.

Do a manufacturer search, tools finishing, then select Evergreen. They have a boatload of products. I have ordered products from this site many times and would have no problems doing it again.
