I need help finding some info...

Last night I was talking with some folks, and they mentioned something like Lightning Riots or something like that.

They said, "Oh yeah beam....you haven't heard of these? They are like the latest craze."

I guess, what it involves is an Internet community announces a "riot" which involves a meeting place. Tons of people show up to the meeting place at the appointed time and then they all do some strange activity for like 30 seconds.

I have never heard of this, but wanted to find out more. I googled lightning riot and got nothing so I don't think that is the proper name.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Anyone know what this is really called?

I had heard about this thing where people get together all in one area at a specific time and do something crazy. It is organized over the internet. Some of the things I have heard about were like, everyone meet in XYZ mall in front of ABC store at 1:30 pm on Wed. Nov. 19th, and act like a robot for 30 seconds.

Then a ton (thousands) would show up right at that time, act like a robot for 30 seconds and then disperse. No real interaction, and it appears random to the general public.

Anyways, I thought maybe someone here would've heard of these things and helped me find info, but I figured it out on my own.
