    Have to agree, never had to worry about it.

    Go to best buy and grab an a60 or the a70 (Same camera, cept the A60 is 2megapixels and the a70 is 3.2MegaPixels) and get thier warranty to go with it and you don't have to deal with canon if you are worried about it.

    As long as you don't plan on printing anything bigger than an 8x10 the A60 is fine.

      The HP i got was refurbished, and the lense that extends when you turned teh camera on got stuck out. So it wouldn't go in, wouldn't focus, and wouldn't zoom. But I called up HP, they sent me a new one, and paid for the return shipping (they send you the new one before you send yours back).
      I don't know if it was just a freak thing that it broke, but they have great customer service. One year replacement warrenty, if it breaks new one to your door in about 4 days.
