I think it would be a bit different from the typical "omg Earth is ded in 10 days." It's a long period of time, but not that long. So it's hard to say how people would react. Obvious panic, but after 1 or 2 months of panicking, doesn't that get a bit tiring? Crime would probably shoot through the roof, and governments would probably try to keep a very tenuous hold on the people. Hard to say whether or not they'd be successful. Martial law would probably be immediately enforced, but how long before the soldiers enforcing it decide that it's not worth it? When you have so long, yet so short to live, who wants to keep other people from rioting, stealing, and killing, when you could be at home with your family.
