Sadly, I ended up that way ... More or less stick with "love hina" manga ...

I think alot of manga is goin on my X mas list. So far I want:
Dragon Ball Box Set 1-7 (The Shonen Jump versions, yeah, I know)
And possibly the Magic Knight Rayearth manga box set 1-3 but how is it? Thanks and Peace!

they edited magic nights down(for america) into some little teeny bopper shoujo, its pretty hesh, i sold my box set of it for like 15, but you might like it, anyway yeah, cowboy bebop and cowboy bebop shooting star, those are really good, yeah brittany(emeraldis) let me borrow it and i read it all in like one night, it was great, anyway, i'm out.

Eh, I guess I wont get it, I thought it was about crazy coolness. Can anyone recommend and good manga that is available at Waldenbooks or Barnes n' Noble? I dont want to get manga that is bad so keep it about Teen level, none of that 18 and up stuff, o, and make it shonen.

Full Metal Panic manga . . . nuff said. That manga (and the anime series) totally rocked. I haven't read the manga, but from some of my manga-reading fellow otakus, it's just as good as the series, and, in their opinion, even better in some parts. I've seen some of the manga and my opinion is that both the anime and the manga were equally uber excellent .

i love anime.

Ive watched alot of stuff.
Armitage (the first one) is a pretty good movie.
Metropolis is very well done, and the soundtrack is amazing.
i dunno, ive watched so many movies i cant remember which ones i have watched but those two were the most recent.

Series- Trigun is fantastic
Big o- one of my favorite series ever.
Outlaw star- Amazing
Gundam- pretty good
Gundam wing- i like this better than gundam
Dragon ball- really funny and probably my favorite out of the three
dragon ball z- first anime series i started watching, still love it
dragon ball gt- just started, dont like it that much
tenchi muyo- funny
YuYu hakosho- i liked the begining of the show but the rest i thought was dumb
Cowboy bebop- I love the soundtrack, it just fits perfectly with the show

thats all i can think of

I wanna enter Tokyopop's up and coming manga stars contest. It'll be really hard though, since Im not good at action poses, so I gotta come up with an idea, and Im gunna do it Fooly Cooly style, all sketchy and crap. Hmmmmmmmm.....

Anywho, I absolutely despise it when manga is edited down. Especially when it isn't kept in original format. It angers me. Angers me much!

speaking of edited manga... look out for Battle Angel Alita...done by Yukito Kishiro the original title was "Gunm" roughly translated as gun dream. Viz did the translation and changed the names on some of the characters and places... it might have been a contract issue we'll never know... the series itself though kicks all forms of arse.
