If that is Africa, then they are better off rusting there. If they werent, theyd probably be in the hands of some 12 year old impressed into military service. God knows I love firearms, but there are far too many in existance on this planet for everyone's good.

My mother still shoots a modified Lee Enfield with a birds eye maple stock,(my father had it done for her back in the late sixties) but I haven't shot an original Lee Enfield since I was a cadet.
What a waste of metal and wood.

Wow. That's pretty impressive, and kind of sad. There's more than one thing I saw there that I need in my collection. But unfortunately, that's unlikely, and in Africa I think they are better off rusting safely away.

My unlce has one. Darn thing keeps acting up on him though. He also was supposed to get a purple heart after Vietnam but they never gave it to him. Back to the pic. That is terrible. All that history just rusting away.

Hey, Im a gun fanatic too, but the world would be a better place without them, or any weapons for that matter. Unfortunately, people always seem to be able to find other ways of killing each other. A particular favorite in Africa seems to be the machete.

My AFJROTC drill team has 20 m1's...Fully functional execpt the barrel is pluged.
