New Site Layout

I just updated my website and thought i'd let you guys check it out, it works best with 1024x768 resolution, it might take a while to load because i decided to leave it in .bmp form so as not to lose the clarity of the images, well heres the link i hope you enjoy it.

I know there is a lot of content yet to be posted and i'm getting there, also please post constructive criticism about it. thanks.

thanks guys for your input, what colours would you suggest?
also i'm going to take it down and resave as jpegs, see if that goes a little easier for loading.

Go gif for graphics. Jpg for pictures. Sometimes you are not going to get exactly what you want due to the limitations of all the different browsers out there. This is one of those things that we all learn to deal with.

This will drasticaly cut your bandwidth usage. (Especialy important since you have already run over your cap and your pages are no longer being served)

If the page comes up and I actualy get to see it maybe I will give you a bit more specific advice. I may have a teeny weeny bit of experience with this sorta stuff.

ok heres an alternate length sence my bandwidth crapped out on me on the other page, if it does not load that may be because i did not end the file in .html as to circumvent the ads, i would like input and if you would like, leave feedback in the guestbook.link

Break up your graphics. There is no reason to have a 474 x 556 jpg that is 90% black pixels. Use multiple small graphics and use .gif so you can control the palet so the colors match. Also where is the content... links etc??

good idea with the breaking up the graphics, and the content is still on the other layout so i have to update it, meh. it'll be up shortly.
