The Matrix was an okay movie. The battle between Neo and Smith was pretty cool, but besides that i thought it was a little to boring and they made it a little to romantic. They should of had Neo and the Architec fight, i really thought that would happen. I was hoping that old guy would get his *** kicked. Did u notice that the train man was the bum in the first movie. I thought that was wierd as well. I rated it a six

i gave it ia 2, it was ALL special effects to me, the plot wasnt really interesting and most of neos powers just seem overdone that impossible to beat. i mean when the sentinels were charging at him in niobe's ship and he destroyed them by the hundreds? ugh.

I like the part where all the people are in the robots. But they are in the matrix for like 15 minutes in the movie

the train guy was the hobo from the first one? i didnt notice that. ill have to check it out.

anyways, reloaded and revolutions are different types of movies than the original. the original matrix was groundbreaking, in that it used special effects that hadnt been seen before, and had a unique plot. the way i see it, it could have bombed just as easily. however, 2 and 3 were designed to be box office hits. it returned to more conventional hollywood norms, especially the romance between neo and trinity. having said that, do i think reloaded and revolutions are bad movies? no, just different. i will admit that reloaded is my least favorite of the three, but it still isnt a bad movie, not by a long shot. i gave revolutions a 7, because some of the lines were just too corny. however, the nightclub scene and the fight in zion were both awesome. i also feel that it left the ending open to interpretation, and still left some questions. i think we may see another matrix in the future.

a new movie would be cool. I know the perfect name as well The Matrix Aftermath... or maybe the Matrix Reborn, and maybe the architec will be killed, and... and... lots of nude women. I'm starting to get ideas about it. Maybe i should direct.

The Matrix trilogy is actually vary complex and to some hard to fallow and understand, the bases on religion trips people out. I recommend reading the short book "TAKING THE RED PILL" The Science, Philosophy and Religion in the Matrix. To really get a good understanding of the plot and what the brothers want you to get out of the movies. There are three books on the Philosophy of the matrix but Taking The Red Pill is the best.

Good god. That's exactly the reason I didn't really like the Matrix Trilogy. And it's the same reason I've sworn off watching TLC ever again.

Deep Thought for Dummies.

There was nothing in the Matrix that wasn't done thousands of times better in numerous Sci-Fi novels and short stories.

Cool special effects and all, I was impressed with the first movie. But the next two just relied on flash and were dripping with holier-than-thou 'this is deep' pretense.

I was willing to put up with the stupid story premise for one film, but when they didn't develop it for the others? What a crock. Now the AniMatrix stuff was worth it though. Too bad the writers for the Matrix didn't use the talent that was behind those stories.
