    ti-89 help

    I just got my 89, have the silver cable, and i can't get it to connect. How am i supposed to know what port its in? I tried sending and recieving and it didn't work. Its plugged into the usb slot in the front of my computer. I tried both "cbl"(where the texas instruments lead me to, sposed to be the "ti connect" software) and ti's "graph link" software....anyone have one?

      What comm port do you have it set to link too? I use the black cable with mine and it works fine, never tried the USB cable before.

          I tried comm port 1, 2, 3, and 4, none of them work.
