I find it hilarious you accuse Clinton of sending troops into harms way for nothing other then moral grounds, but when justifying the Iraqi War, you always turn to the ideas of saving the Iraqi people from the "genocide" they were subjugated too. Since WOMD is not a reason, then what is the reason for Iraq.
The former Yugoslavia was plagued by the actions of Slobadon Milosovetch and his GENOCIDE. Clinton decided that it was the right thing to do to send in our boys to save the ethnic cleansing of Bosnian and Kosovoians (if that is the word) ethnic Muslims and all. There was nothing to gain by going into that area, but everything to lose.
Clinton sent troops into Mogadishu and Rwanda, for humanitarian aide. Nothing to gain, everything to lose.
Bush sends troops into Iraq, alot to gain, relative few to lose.
As for the original intent for this thread. I have no doubt that Bush would not have been there if Hillary wasn't there. I have no doubt that Bush did it for he felt it would be nice to do. I have no doubt that they will use this and planned to have it used as a photo op to spread propaganda about the war.
