    CD DriveProblem!!!!

    Ok when ever i put a game cd in my cd drive after about 10mins of playing i would get a black screen. Then i have to shut it down and when i play again it works fine. Does thsi on a off. I dunno what is causing this.

    why do you think it's a drive problem? sounds like a video card issue to me. we're going to need more info if you want any kind of help. system specs would be nice. brand of everything and what version drivers you're running would be helpful.

      The same thing happens to me when I try to view an online video on Windows Media Player.
      My other marker is an autococker.....

        Yea it prob is my video card, its a Geforce card and althon processor 1.6g. 512 ram. It never use to do this so. It would only happen on Cdrom games.

            i'd recommend reinstalling your video drivers. the reason you're having problems on "cd-rom games" is because those are the most demanding on your video card. it could also be a cooling problem. if your video card overheats that would have the same symptoms that you're describing. have you recently changed anything on your system?

              Nope just a ram chip, but if i remember it was still doing this before.
