This drives me nuts. Now, maybe the defense is right, and maybe his low blood sugar level did have something to do with his accident, but it's his responsibility to take care of himself. There are millions of diabetics in this country (my grandfather was one for basically all my life prior to his passing) and they don't run down people because at a state function they didn't eat. He knows his condition and he knows what it requires to maintain his full abilities and it's his responsibility to do so.

They'll try to weasel out of anything if you let them.

I agree. But, this is America, I don't have to be responsible for my own actions...that is as long as I have a good lawyer.

I had heard a news report that talked about a taped (not sure if video or audio) conversation Janklow had with a trooper at the scene. He sounded coherent and stable. Not like a diabetic on the verge of an insulin attack.

Now this cnn article said he took some coke and candy from an EMT. I don't know how long it takes to kick in and if he had taken it prior to his conversation with the trooper, but that could probably be the reason he was better by then.

But really, all of this medical stuff is moot. Sure, we can use it to maybe go a little easier on him, but he is still responsible for this man's death. He needs to be held accountable.

Yes this has been heavily followed by the Motorcycle and Scooter croud for a while now. Seems he has beed stopped and ticketed for speeding numerous times. And even bragged about it. And he was in a previous accident where he claimed another "mystery" car caused him to swerve and hit the other car. Same story! No witness's saw it then or in this case. He just blew through the stop sign is all there is to it.

OJ played the innocent card. he didn't try to come up with an explanation of why he did it. he just said he didnt do it. These two admitted they did it and gave excuses. Excuses are ****. Where I work, I nor anyone else gives a damn about why it wasn't done, just that it wasn't. I don't care how something gets done, so long as it gets to the boss-man when it was asked for and 100% correct.
