    The Last Samurai

I just wanted to tell everyone that I saw The Last Samurai and it was awesome. It was one of the best movies I've seen in years. Tom Cruise's best performance ever. Just go see it, you won't be sorry.
It came to a point in my life when it was either pay the rent or buy paintball gear. I think I made the wise choice. If anyoneone needs me I'm livin in a van down by the river.

Seven Samurai is superb. Heaven and Earth, and Ran are amazing films.

Just got back from seeing The Last Samurai. OH MAN THAT MOVIE ROCKED!!!!!!!!

I loved the end with the emperor and what he said to that beaurocratic fat-cat . Heh heh.

Oh man, I so want to go on a happy-rant about how good that movie was, but I don't want to spoil it for any of you who haven't seen it, so I won't. It's just that it's SOOOOOO good!!!! Tom Cruise definately did a fantastic job in his role.

Yes...TooDamnSweet and I saw it last night. GREAT MOVIE! It's neat to see more movies have 'anime' style effects(referring to the blood effects). But not only that, when I first saw the trailers...I thought...OH NO!! A white samurai?!?! How will they pull that off...but they did a really good job! From start to finish, definitely a treat and worth the price of admission. I wouldn't mind seeing it again myself!

This movie is AWESOME! They did a great job of making the intense parts really intense.

I don't know if every theater has the same trailers before the feature, but where I went to see it, they had only one trailer before the movie...The Passion. Oh my land. That movie is going to be really good.

I saw the movie over the weekend with my girlfriend. While I'm no expert in such things from what I've read in texts and books I've picked up from the store the actual portrayal or all the "players" and set design is fairly close to being what it was like in the meiji revolution/restoration era... It was nice to hear Japanese spoken as it should be instead of the normally broken sentences you get with most american films.

Awesome movie.. and one that I will own when it comes out on DVD...

oh and a side note... I wish to hell I could buy the armor that Tom Cruise wears in the film...

Sweet, I might have to shell out $6 for it!!!

I've heard good things about Ran and seven samurai. I own Yojimbo (the bodyguard) FANTASTIC!!!

I recommend it to anyone who like spaghetti westerns. Sergio Leon movies like The Good the bad and the ugly ect.
A Fistfull of Dollars storyline was stolen from Yojimbo. Kinda interesting...

I give it 2 thumbs up!

"EDITED OUT SPOILER" Didn't realize I could have spoiled the movie for others who haven't see it yet.

Still my all time favorite Samurai movie is "Ten to chi" - Heaven and Earth. Directed by Haruki Kadokawa in 1990.

Recomend you check it out and see why.
