Iam not a fan of anyof these teams but IMO USC got completly screwed over. Oklahoma does not deserve at all to be in the National Championship. How does this work #1(oklahoma) was stompped by #15( Kansas i think they are ranked 15) so this moves #2 (USC) to #3, and lsu into the 1 or 2 spot. IMO LSU should go aginst USC in the sugar bowl. What do you all think.

USC lost to number 54 California.

LSU lost to Florida and beat the heck out of the number 4 or 5 ranked team in the championship.

Oklahoma lost to 15.

I think the top two teams are in the title game no matter what the sport writers thinks.

Also being a Texas fan, I agree with Collegeboy. In the overall picture, regardless of recent wins and losses, OU is still a pretty damn good team, and as much as it pains me to admit it, should play in the title game. Although it sucks big ones that Texas ranked ranked higher than some teams is out of a BCS game.

I personally think USC vs OU would be the best title game. Although USC lost to California earlier USC averaged over 40 pts a game (including the Cal game). Plus to mention the Cal game went to 3 OT's. Either way can't change what's gonna happen now. Sucks USC got screwed but I'm sure lots of teams get screwed in their own ways.

Yea but USC didn't play that tough a schedule and even the one they lost too didn't amount to that good a schedule ranking. So that hurt them.

But that being said I think Oklahoma's schedule is overated by far. They dominated teams that in my opinion are now looking a bit over rated. So that strength of schedule "overating" further hurts USC

I think LSU is probably right now the best team in the country. And the hottest team. Probably the best defense I ever saw. They totaly wrecked a VERY good Georgia team this weekend. And I believe their offense is as good as USC or Ok.. They have everything clickin right now.

No matter what method we use the problem occurs from time to time. However I belive it should have been USC and LSU myself. But there is an argument that Ok played a bit tougher schedule. and lost to a better oponent. All things equal there is very good logic for an LSU vs OK match up.

I totally agree. Just look at what happened 2 years ago. Nebraska went to the National Chamionship game and didn't even play for the Big 12 Chamionship title. That was a load of BS.

Exactly, it was a load of crap then and it's a load of crap now.

The only shining point in this is that the rose bowl will be a good game and either way I'll be happy. If USC wins, they should get a share of the national title and if Michigan wins, well michigan wins and I'm happy.

Well thing that sucks for Michigan fans is that the Rose Bowl is in USC's backyard. They might as well make the game at the collisium. Should still make for a good game. USC has a tough Defense and an overwhelming offense. For example against UCLA (not the greatest team but has a great defense) USC had over 180 yds passing to one reciever by the end of the 1st quarter. They scored like 28 pts by the end of the first quarter. Oh well anyhow I don't know the USC schedule as I'm a big University of Utah fan myself. Who believe always get's shafted cause they aren't a "big name" conference team. Although a few years back they stomped USC at the Bowl in Vegas. That was a mighty nice treat.
