Boy gets 2 days for waring bra

I was in my english class sitting behind this kid. I noticed a outline of a strap on his shirt. Hmmm. I then said: Are you waring a Bra? yes he said. I was half tempted to snap it, but refrained knowing that the same harsh penalty may exist for snaping a bra on a boy. Later that day he was called down to the office, were they first gave him 2 days of inschool. Then called his dad to ask permission to take it off. (We are talking about a sophmore by the way) Lol his dad was so embassed, he kept asking his son if he was gay. Anyways I guess the kid found the bra in some ally way. Pretty nasty. and if you think this kid is some weirdo,he is not, actully hes quite a cool kid, very popular with the ladies.

What im trying to point out though is why does this kid get all the time, such as boxers. Now I just herd from our school paper editor that the principal threatened to cut off the funding for the school paper if this topic was brought up.

Hurm... I don't see why he couldn't wear a dress if he chose to. From the schools I've been to, guys and girls have the same dress code and I'm unaware of anything that says a guy can't wear girl clothes and girls can't wear guy clothes.

Sure its weird, maybie the kid is gay, or maybie he just lost a bet. For whatever reason though, if the kid wants to wear a bra, or even a dress to school he should be allowed to. He might have a nice case to sue the school if he wanted to.

Agreed. School's are really starting to go way overboard where "distracting clothing" is concerned. Damned glad I'm not in HS anymore..

If its a public school he can sue the school and will 100% of a chance win. They cannot tell you what to or what not to wear.

Swat150: you should suggest taking the school to court, and for giving him the info on sueing you should ask for a little award (by little i mean a two thousand dollars ) and then since i gave u that suggestion you should give me some money so we're all happy.

He won't sue, his father is embarassed about it. If it goes to court its going to be a huge thing and even more people will know about it. I'm assuming he is still a minor and cannot sue, he would need his parents to file.
I hope he does though, just so the school has to let people wear what they want within reason. I can see if he came in with a bikini or f u t-shirt the school doing somthing.

thats funny, because FU is on the same campus as my highschool! (fairfield university)
