my day sucked *insert expletive here*

well, today has sucked pretty bad since the minute i went to sleep... and is still sucking as i type this

i woke up around 3 in the morning with a sore throat, i took a couple advil and tried going back to sleep

    no luck.

just stared at the ceiling fan in my room and eventually fell asleep

i woke up at 6:40 to take a luke-warm shower (mom hogged all the hot water from her shower)

i eat breakfast, a dried out krispy kreme donut, with a cup of strawberry milk

my mom notifies me that my neighbor is going to drive me to school

we leave the driveway at 7:40, 7:50 being when the bell rings

of course, i get to school 15 minutes late and get yelled at by our gay attendence office person

i walk up to the 3rd floor to my locker, put my coat away, and went back down the the second floor to join my first hour class half-way through it

i walk in and the room smells like stale milk for some reason, which gave me a stomach ache and a headache

2nd hour, i have to leave study hall to go to my councelor and have a parent-teacher-student meeting about my poor grades

3rd hour, i get my history test back that i took on monday... an outstanding 43.3% :o

i go to swimming class next, get points deducted for not participating in group activities/games

off to lunch... i have a candy bar and a couple of milks... and bummed the leftover chips from a friend at my table

walk into english class half-awake, with NONE of my homework done... sub didnt care, but he made us do all this extra busy work to spend class time 'wisely'

6th hour/biology went fine i guess, even though i found out i was in danger of failing the class because of 9 consecutive 0's from homework i never handed in

7th hour... last period of the day, i had algebra... and ohhhhh boy do i hate our teacher... i fell asleep and the teacher started yapping at me in her heavy southern accent

i just ignore her and start taking notes that began 10 minutes ago

bell rings, teacher keeps me after and gives me a lecture on the fact that i need to concentrate on what we are learning

then i get to walk home from school, in 35 degree weather, with freezing rain (how fun!!)

i walk in the door to my little brothers fighting and my mom trying to break it up, so i just go to my room, still with a horrid headache from 1st hour

my mom tells me that she got my grade report in the mail today, and that her and my dad are going to have a talk with me about my 'academic performance'

i log onto AOL, and find out that the person who was going to buy my impulse that i've been trying to sell for over 4 months now, may be getting an A4 instead

and here i am, sitting at my computer, drinking brisk ice tea, with a sore tooth from friday when i had 2 cavities in the same tooth drilled and filled

you don't even wanna hear the rest... you'll think im especially stupid for a 14 year old kid... besides the fact that i know a crapload about paintball stuff

feel free to express how bad your day was :o

Meh, I got the flu today if that makes you feel anybetter. My joints are frozen . Your day wasn't truly a 'horrible' day per say, I mean theres worse. You could've got your toes crushed in by a hammer, then have odd asian men shove wooden splinter type things up your fingernails. Anyway, one good thing that happened today, I got a new CS hack (just for fun.. when we're getting pwnd), and my friend sent me ever 'At the Drive In' cd, and every 'The Mars Volta' CD. Let me tell you, 2 excellent bands there. So, be happy at the 100 or so bucks I saved at the cd store today (and the 60 lost by those 'unfortunate' artists).

I'm pretty sure he's a freshman. Algebra is completely normal at 14.

Hmm maybe isntead of being on AO all of the time, u could do some homework . And about the guy who is buying your gun, tell him u have another offer and u are going to take it unless he buys now, if he calls your bluff i am shure u can find another buyer.

Because there's a distinct difference between turning in mostly complete homework and failing and not turning in homework and failing.

Trust me College + Senioritis + stupid sophomore level math class don't mix.

sorry your day sucked, but from an observer's standpoint, it sounds like you brought most of it upon yourself. what is to prevent you from doing your homework? If anything, doing the homework (and no excuses here. I know this from experience) will allow you to do MUCH better on tests MUCH easier. Also, there's no reason you shouldn't participate in swimming. I mean, COME ON, it's swimming. It's not like it's hard or anything. then again, I've been competitively swimming since shortly after you were born, so the water is like a second home to me . . .

And that thing about the consecutive 0's in class. Come on, man. Shape up. Get your act together. Buckle down and start working hard when it's the time in your life when you can't really DO much else.

Let me put it to you this way: if you bust your butt in middle school and high school to learn as much as you can and to do as well as you can, then when you get to college, you'll be able to do well and ALSO have much more time to do the fun stuff like road trips, parties, meeting the pretty ladies, etc., etc. that only the college life offers.

Now, if you stay lazy like this and manage to graduate high school and get into college, I'll tell you right now that you will most likely be spending most of your time studying and doing homework b/c it takes you so long to do that b/c you didn't prepare yourself well in middle school and high school.

Work your butt off now while there's not much else to do, and then have LOTS of fun in college where you'll be able to do so much more stuff and still do well academically.

Take it from someone who busted his butt in HS and is now enjoying an active college life while keeping a Cumulative GPA slightly under 3.0 (for an engineering major, this is nothing to be sad about). I love it. In HS I got sick of doing the work, but I kept at it, b/c I figured that college would be much better if I worked hard then and was then able to take it easier in college. I was right.

Just start to buckle down and work your butt off and get those grades up. Tolerate the teachers you can't stand; you might find they actually have something worthwhile to teach you. Work hard, do you homework, and study well. You can't really do much else now at this time in your life, so take advantage of it and learn as much as you can now, before other things start to compete for your attention.

I spent the day welding my buds ice shack back together. He broke the axel and asked me to weld it cause hes a retard. Soo, I weld the hell outta it with the metal he gives me (which was way too small). The whole time im laying on the concrete with nothing between me and the floor but a tshirt and pants. My body aches.

So, we drop the shack back down to see if the metal he had would support it, and the ****er snapped. So, I take a little bit of angle iron I had left over and welded that on. It held a little but still bowed out so I figure, Monday im going to just weld him up a new axel.

Then after that I spent about 4 hours putting in drainage pipes. It was cold as hell. Sucked

Now im home, freezing my *** off.

I'd suck it up, and also put on a pair of goggles. If the teacher still knew I was feeling sick and still made me play, then it's her fault for not letting me sit out if I throw up in the pool.
